You Rock! How to find the PERFECT GUY by being yourself.

Did you ever think that finding a mate could be so simple and so effortless?  What if I told you that you would probably meet the man of your dreams while you are out doing something you love to do?

Would you say, "Why for so long have I gussied myself up to attend silly speed dating events and corporate mixers?"

The truth is…the best places to find men are the places you like to go!

Here is an exercise to get you going.  Sign up for things that interest you.  The Warrior Dash, a wine tasting, an art class, a cooking class or a white water rafting trip.  You get the idea!

Once you find yourself at one of those fabulous fun events…and feel free to bring one of your best girlfriends.  Start talking to people!  Make it a point to introduce yourself to everyone.  You never know who you might meet!  Or you never know if the person you meet has someone they want you to meet!  Maybe you meet another great girlfriend — and she just might have some great guy friends!  Can you see the potential here?!?!

Do something good for someone else.  Volunteer!  Find a charity close to your heart and see how you can help.  Not only will you help others.  You make yourself feel good and you meet people!

Get outside.  You know, single guys don't make house calls.  Nice day?  Get to a park and take a walk or meet a friend at an outdoor cafe.  Chat up the table next to you.  Be sure to wear your smile.  A friendly person is an approachable person.

Think of it this way.  You only go around once (that we know of).  Make sure you have some interesting stories to tell.  See every outing as an adventure.  Make it your goal to meet someone new or at least say Hi to someone new every day!

Lastly, know that you ROCK.  You don't need a man.  You just want to find the love of your life.

Everyone has guts in one form or another.  You have the GUT aka stomach or says wikianswers, the part of the alimentary canal between the stomach and the anus.

You can have the GUTS to do something or another way of saying it — balls!

You can have a GUT REACTION, you know, a visceral emotional reaction to something.

You can also have a GUT FEELING about something

All of the GUTS are good.  But it is the last GUT – the GUT FEELING is the GUT I like the best.  I like it because it most always works.  I don't like it because I don't always listen to it.  Sometimes people tell you things and you want to hear them.  So you believe them.  But somewhere down deep in that GUT, you feel that something is a little off.

I am the victim of another missed GUT FEELING.  I should have known better.  It sounded too good to be true.  I weighed my options.  But I just wanted to do what I wanted to do and I ignored my gut.  Lesson learned.  Really.  This time — no more ignoring the GUT.

I'm going to invent something new — it's called GUT MEMORY.  So the next time your GUT tells you something it already told you — it KICKS you in the GUT until you remember.
